This substantial pestle was recovered during a survey at Hopper?s Landing, site 41RF11, by Jimmy Bluhm, a volunteer at the Museum of the Coastal Bend and Archeological Steward for the Texas Historical Commission. Jimmy Bluhm?s outstanding collection of projectile points, tools, and early peoples artifacts has been donated to the Museum of the Coastal Bend.
